1999 26' Herreshoff Alerion

The Alerion was designed by Nathaniel Herreshoff in 1914 as his personal boat. That boat sits at Mystic Seaport Museum where she has enthralled generations of sailors with her sensuous curves and elegant simplicity. Wisely, Rumery's Boat Yard decided to remain faithful to the original design when they decided to build a classic design in fiberglass.
Other builders have traded on the name 'Alerion', but none match the grace, speed, and quality of the authentic design.
"Arion" has been maintained at top New England boat yards and sailed by knowledgable yacht-men. She is in excellent condition and is highly recommended.
